The Foxford Ramblers Walking Club will host the inaugural Foxford Walking Festival from 21st - 23rd October 2011. The Festival will kick off on friday 21st with a Welcome Reception and registration at the Foxford Sport and Leisure Centre.
There will be three guided walks each day on Saturday and Sunday and the walks will be graded. Transport will be provided to and from start/finish points where necessary. The walks will be based on the Foxford Way which has recently been re-marked and upgraded and there will be both linear and loop walks available.
On Sunday 23rd, the Easy walk will be a Family Nature Walk led by a local expert Dr Chris Huxley.
The Foxford Ramblers cordially invite our fellow ramblers whereever they may be to come and join us.
There will be music and craic in the local hostelries each night and a warm welcome is assured for all walkers!
